A quick click on our web site link https://www.powearchitects.com/powe-team/ will reveal that there has been some new additions to the POWE Team since our last newsletter. We are very excited about the part time return to the practice of Bethany Hunter Ward after several years spent starting her family and pursuing her passion for restoring an old printing machine. Her plan is to complete her TAFE studies and then enrol next year to study Architecture at QUT. We have welcomed Nancy Knott, a German graduate who Matthew met at a Brisbane BIM function earlier this year. Nancy is a passionate BIM advocate and is also balancing family life and other work commitments. She brings a tenacious attention to detail to the documentation team. Ian Martin has joined us in the role of Senior Architect and provides some more grey hair to the team (not just Len’s) and many years of experience in architecture and interior design. Most recently, Sacha O’Toole returned to Australia after several years working in Canada and New Zealand. He plans to gain the necessary experience with us to register as an architect in Australia. All the new team members have initially commenced with us on our Town Square Redbank Plains project which starts on site in September. Meanwhile, Ariana Devery has returned to QUT to finish her architecture degree and is continuing with us on a part time basis. Matthew Johnson is looking forward to a well deserved holiday with his family over 2 weeks in late September and Michael Ellis is heading overseas to Japan for a brief holiday in early October.
